Born in Italy, Argentina and France, Teresa de Rogatis, Maria Luisa Anido and Ida Presti are among the leading figures of 20th-century guitar music. Both virtuoso performers and composers, they wrote music for their instrument that is deeply influenced by the rhythms and imagery of travel.
From the Mediterranean to the landscapes of Argentina, their works evoke distant places, memories and atmospheres. The titles themselves trace a veritable soundscape: Impresiones argentinas, Fantasia araba, Recuerdos de España, Alba sul mar…
These are all musical stopovers where the guitar becomes, in turn, a landscape or an invitation to travel.

ARTISTS
GABRIEL BIANCO
Born in Paris in 1988, Gabriel Bianco graduated with a degree in classical guitar in 2008 and in chamber music in 2015. Winner of the Guitar Foundation of America’s international competition in 2008, he embarked on a career as a soloist that has taken him to perform in some fifty countries: he has played in prestigious venues such as the Théâtre du Châtelet, the main hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the Herbst Theater (San Francisco), the Luis Ángel Arango Auditorium (Bogotá), and the Central Conservatory (Beijing)… He has also performed at numerous festivals, including La Folle Journée in Nantes, the Radio France Festival in Montpellier-Occitanie, the Cervantino Festival (Guanajuato, Mexico) and the Granada Music and Dance Festival (Spain). Gabriel Bianco has recorded several albums. His solo recital *A Parisian in Paris* was released in February 2025 (Naxos), followed by *Filmaginaire* with the Quatuor Eclisses (Klarthe). An album with mezzo-soprano Marina Viotti and cellist Léonard Disselhorst is scheduled for 2026 (Naïve). He features on double bassist Marc André’s debut album, due for release in the spring of this year. Since 2018, Gabriel Bianco has been teaching classical guitar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam as a principal lecturer. He gives masterclasses at the Royal College of Music in London, the CNSMDP, the Manhattan School of Music in New York, the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, and the universities of Arizona (Tucson) and Florida (Tallahassee). Gabriel Bianco plays on Savarez strings; he is an Altamira Artist.
GUADALUPE MARTÍN
Guadalupe Martín Pino trained at the conservatoires in Madrid and Seville, before continuing her studies in France, first at the CRR in Paris and then at the CNSMDP. In 2025, she was awarded a Master’s degree in performance with the distinction of ‘Very Good’ by unanimous decision, with a project dedicated to Spanish music of the Silver Age (1898–1936). She maintains a busy concert schedule in France and Spain, performing at festivals, theatres and heritage venues across both countries. At the same time, she has established a regular presence in unconventional settings. This is evidenced by her collaboration with the Centro Cultural Casa de Federico in Granada, dedicated to the figure of Federico García Lorca, with whom she organises concerts and cultural activities centred on Spanish musical and literary heritage, as well as the numerous concerts she gives in hospitals. In the field of chamber music, she maintains a regular programme of performances in various formats. For five years, she was a member of the Duo Azul with guitarist Antoine Guerrero, with whom she performed notably at the Chana Orloff Museum in Paris, the CNSMDP, the Cité des Arts and as part of the Noches del Real Alcázar in Seville. Since September 2022, Guadalupe has been a guitar teacher at the Conservatoire de Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, in the Paris region, where she balances her teaching and artistic work, constantly combining performance, teaching and composition.
